PCBA is the abbreviation of Printed Circuit Board Assembly, which means that the PCB board is loaded by SMT, or the entire process of DIP plug-in, referred to as PCBA.
Both SMT and DIP are ways of integrating parts on the PCB. The main difference is that SMT does not require drilling holes on the circuit board assembly. In DIP, the PIN pins of the parts need to be inserted into the holes that have been drilled.
The difference between PCB and circuit board assembly
You should be able to know that PCB Assembly generally refers to a processing process, and can also be understood as a finished circuit board, that is, circuit board assembly can only be counted after all the processes on the PCB are completed. A Printed Circuit Board, on the other hand, refers to an empty printed circuit board with no parts on it.
To put it simply: Printed Circuit Board Assembly is the finished board, and PCB is the bare board.
